Application
To be eligible for the D-SIP program students must be undergraduates enrolled at the University of Michigan.
Applications to the program are being accepted on a continual basis until 11:59 P.M. on Friday, January 15, 2010. Selected candidates will be asked to complete two rounds of interviews. All applicants will be notified of final decisions in mid-March 2010. The program runs mid-May to mid-August 2010.
- Students may choose to enroll in D-SIP for credit or as a not-for-credit internship. However, participants will be expected to attend all class sessions and complete assignments regardless of credit status.
- Participants earn $10/hour for all time spent on assigned internships in U-M schools or units. Students are not paid for attending classes or lectures or completing coursework. D-SIP interns do not work on Memorial Day or Independence Day.
